Fixing wires

Chafing wires are a source of malfunctions and, in the worst case, a short circuit with possible fire. Harley-Davidson wires and protection tubes were therefore already fixed in the early days of motorcycling with well-made clamps made of spring steel on the frame tubes. As the number of wires increased, so have the types and uses of wire clamps.
