The brackets are correct in terms of introduction and use for the indicated model year groups, but can both be mounted on any 1936-1957 Springer forks.

Spotlight Mounting Clamps for Springer Forks 1946-1957
From the mid-1950s, Springer forks featured a bracket for auxiliary headlights as original Harley-Davidson accessories. This bracket was a round tube with mounting tabs. The lamps themselves were then attached to the bracket using clamps, which are available here as chrome reproductions. Of course, these are not only suitable for headlights, but also for many other applications. Fits tubes of 7/8”-1” diameter.
