Since the mid 1970es the name PBI stands for high quality sprockets. After precise manufacturing the transmission sprockets are electroless nickel-plated against corrosion. Electroless plating provides a uniform deposit thickness, disregarding the shape of the plated object.
Socket head screws for the supplied lock washer will not clear 1965-1969 primary housings. If you can't machine the lock washer and use countersunk screws, use OEM 35216-36 lock washer.
PBI sprockets →1979 need WW 77-500 to be installed between the sprocket itself and the maindrive spacer.
