Drum brakes rear of Harley-Davidson models until 1936.

The Cyclery reproductions of the drum brakes for the rear wheel of Harley-Davidson motorcycles from the 1915 model year onwards are outer band brakes, which act on the brake drum via a rotating brake band, sometimes additionally combined with inner brake band installed in the brake drum. The outer brake band was contracted, while the inner one was expanded via an angle lever mechanism. There are matching brake drums and actuating elements such as brake levers, brake linkages and mounting parts.
