Unlike a fuse, a bi-metal circuit breaker is reusable. Once the electrical fault has been rectified and the circuit breaker has cooled down, the contacts close again and you can continue your journey. This means you don't need to carry spare circuit breakers in your pocket or pannier. A minor disadvantage of these fuses is their size (see individual specifications for each item), but they are very robust and, as mentioned, reusable.
Harley-Davidson uses this type of fuse on most motorcycles from 1970 to 2005. Pls look up model assignment under the individual items.
