Bel-Ray Fork Oil

So it’s that time again – the fork oil needs to be changed.

But why, actually?

Because, like any oil, it wears out and over many kilometers on the Harley loses its good properties. Fork oil not only lubricates and reduces friction, it also controls compression and rebound. Even though manuals recommend checking only every 20,000 km, fork oil can be quickly replaced with the right tools, giving you the certainty afterward that the telescopic fork works as it should.

Our Bel-Ray fork oil demonstrably reduces friction – thanks to specially developed additives that improve response and relieve stress on the fork mechanism.

The available viscosity grades allow practical tuning:

• We recommend Bel-Ray 30W for forks originally filled with SAE 50 engine oil (FL up to 1977).
• We recommend Bel-Ray 20W for all other forks and for riders who prefer a firmer response.
• Bel-Ray 15W to replace the original fork oils Type B/E.

Bel-Ray fork oils are mixable with each other, allowing custom viscosities to be achieved.
