Draining the S&S float bowl for a jet change or to remove water from it after heavy rain can be messy with gas flowing all over your engine and hands. This drain valve replaces the stock bowl plug and makes this a quick and clean job. Simply twist off the valve cap, which also serves as a closure cap, and open the integrated tire valve with a pointed object. Then you can drain the fuel or the accumulated water into a suitable container in a controlled manner. If the float chamber should be emptied completely, you can also unscrew the tire valve completely with the valve cap to drain the complete fuel.
