The selection of carb covers for Linkert carburetors is pretty extensive and many of them look nicely at home on other carbs, too. With this little adapter plate you can make this happen in no time. Precisely CNC-machined from billet for a hassle-free installation.

Since the bolt circle for Linkert carbs is smaller the adapter somewhat restricts the air intake. All you performance nuts should consider this.

Adapter Installation

To mount the adapter to the carb you require three 1/4”-20 x 3/8” allen screws. To mount the cover or air horn to the adapter use four #12-24 thread screws as required.

Linkert 6 ” Air Cleaners

Exact reproductions of HD’s first real air cleaners as used on Linkert carburetors. Choose from the early version without logo, with screw-on or J-slot connection between the chromed cover and cad/parkerized backing plate, or the later version with stamped logo. They come complete with spring and metal mesh filter element. The J-slot versions with riveted-on inspection plate, too. Correct for model years 1935-1940, however they will fit all Linkert M-series carbs.
