Whether you want a better street cam for a stock motor, a big lift cam for a dragster or something in between, Andrews Products can supply it. All Andrews cams are computer designed and precision ground from alloy steel billets. One of Andrews Cams' many test beds was the Easyriders Streamliner that holds the motorcyle land speed record with 322 mph (515 km/h).
A2-Grind
Street and Drag Strip cam for Pans and Shovels (except 1980–81). More mid-range and top-end power, idle smoothness is unaffected. Solid Lifters are recommended.
Panhead cylinder heads must be modified.
In 1948–69 Big Twin motors, the clearance between the front exhaust lobe and the ignition drive gear must be checked and modified as required. In most cases the ignition drive gear must be turned down approximately 7 mm. Big Twin motors from 1948–57 will also require the clearance between the front intake lobe and the engine case to be checked and modified if necessary. If using one of our cams in Panhead engines, the cylinder head must be modified (except J-Grind cam). It is highly recommended to check all clearances, especially valve collar to guide distance, everytime you change a cam.
