A real shortcut during restoration or building of a 45” Flathead - fully assembled, ready-to-install, 3-speed transmissions for 1941-up sidevalve Harleys. Rebuilding a completely worn 45 transmission sometimes just isn’t worth the efforts and expenses, besides the fact that it requires a fully equipped workshop and a lot of experience to do this successfully. These transmissions feature all stock specs and details and just drop into your frame. After a few weeks of riding you can’t tell the difference from the factory equipment.
