A common problem with classic gas tanks - mostly difficult to correct and sometimes dangerous - is a leaking fuel valve due to distorted tanks and misaligned fuel valves. This period looking conversion kit for the 1940-1965 thru-the-tank gas valve helps to resolve this issue quickly and easily. The insert replaces the stock valve seat and accepts most 1/8” NPT, 1/4” NPT or 22 mm petcocks at the bottom. The rod is omitted, the crossover line can be retained. With the included cap you close the top of the tank. Now you can park your bike with peace of mind and without a gas puddle underneath.

This adapter allows to replace stock rigid fuel lines with modern 1/4” or 5/16” ID rubber hoses.

The only cure against hard to operate or leaking shut-off valves. This tool corrects the alignment and adjusts distance of bottom and top holes.
