Introducing the CAN-Bus by the Factory required new connectors for low current applications on lighting and handlebar controls. These wire connections have to be especially protected due to the way the CAN-Bus works.
The MX19 connector series stands out for the following:
- Being waterproof
- Mechanical positive lock
- Additional protection for the wire insulation on the rear of the connector housings
- Small dimensions
- Ok for currents up to 5 A
- 4-way
- PBT / silicone
- for wires: ~ up to 0.5 mm² (up to AWG 20)
