Sweater, pullover, jersey or jumper ... there are so many English terms for the same garment made of knitted fabric with long sleeves. The longsleeve is simply the lighter version of a sweater. And because it is lighter, the longsleeve can also be worn under a shirt, especially if it comes as a 3/4 arm baseball shirt.
