The company founder Tolle Dehnisch made his first triple tree back in 1979 his BSA chopper, at at a time when rigid regulations made it impossible for most long forked choppers to get approved by the authorities.
But Tolle had analyzed the situation and designed a perfectly working product. The result? A chopper with superb handling!
Driving tests performed by the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) on an obstacle course against Swedish police motorcycles (BMW) ended with Tolle on his BSA as the winner with the fastest average speed.
After the successful demonstration, Tolle started to manufacture adjustable triple trees for HD and he soon expanded his business to solid triple trees, aluminum triple trees, complete forks and more. It is also worth mentioning that Tolle Scandinavian Motorcycles AB was first to market lasercut brake discs as well as the well-known pop-up gas cap!
