If you've been North of the Polar Circle, you know the situation: Buy a bottle of liquor, or buy a tank full of gas. Which is bad for the vacation budget. UNTIL TODAY!

As we like to see our scandinavian friends in spite of the inhospitable alcohol prices in their mother country, and also like to celebrate our common Harley madness with a drink or two, we toiled away in our underground research labs to produce the ultimate solution for the customs friendly transport of high octane booze. We named it the Bates BAR HANGER.

The tap's orientation is optimized for the bike's „park“ position on its side stand. An extension tube for better targetting your personal fluid container (tent mode) will be available shortly.

A cable driven proof meter for better control of the alhoholic content will be available from 4/1/19 (smartphone app included).

Special Edition „Alta Locura“

For this special edition the bars will be filled with 13 year old Cuban rum by retired „El Floridita“ bar keepers. The bars will be mounted to a stock 1937 Knucklehead and smuggled on a faithful replica of the „Granma“ to Mexico, with a stopover on Easter Island. From there, the bike (with bars) takes the Panamericana all the way to Tuktoyaktuk, NW territories, Canada. Here, the bars get taken off the Knuck and over to a 1973 AMF snowmobile. Providing the Bering straits are frozen over, the direct route to Ust Kamchatsk (Усть-Камчатск) is taken. Here our agent for Eastern Europe, Krasnaja Veetwinkowa takes over and transports the bars in the sidecar of her Harley (the vintage matches the proof of the rum) to the Finnish border town of Vartiuksen rajanylityspaikka, where the Bates Bar Hanger will be handed over by the local mayor during a little ceremony.

CAUTION!

  • For fire safety reasons, cables running through the inside of the bars should be of a isolation rating 100 proof or higher.
  • No reserve setting!
  • The filler cap ( 100% vegan ) should be kept closed at all times to avoid evaporation losses.
  • Interior surface is coated with foodstuffs approved medium (cf. German regulation DIN 10502 regarding foodstuffs hygiene)
