Narrow Glide fork with 39 mm tubes in a classic Big Twin frame? We thought that could be interesting and therefore W&W offers these forks for all 4-Speed Big Twin frames from 1936-1986. Bearings, clamp bolts, steering head bearing adjustment bolt, axle nut and washer are included. If you have a frame prior to 1949, you will need to convert to tapered bearings (WW 15-115). The fork tubes are already filled with oil, which means that the forks are delivered completely ready for installation. Only bearing cups with integrated steering stop have to be mounted (sold separately). Fairly simple to mount and therefore not that much of a big deal. Except the result.

We’re not sure what was there first: the cap with that velcro patch, ready to display different messages according to the condition of your condition – or the idea to broadcast different statements without having to pack 20 different caps in your saddlebag. We’ll probably never know, 'cos here it is, the multi-message cap. Barn find! When reorganising our archive down in the basement under the W&W headquarters, we discovered a box filled with these caps. After work we got a few beers out to discuss the unexpected find with the old hands in the shop and found out that the embroidered logos on these caps are a homage to Highway 1, the old California State Route 1, which, roughly speaking, winds, bends, snakes, switch-backs, flip-flops and undulates along the Pacific coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The cap features casual relaxed shape and is made from heavy gauge “Cotton Duck” fabric. It comes with a heavy duty velcro closure. One size fits all. Order while supply lasts.
