Transmission pulleys are the transmission sprocket's counterpart when the final drive to the rear wheel is via toothed belt. Belt drives are low-maintenance and run quietly. Drive belts have no joints like chains, so the pulleys have a minimum diameter, starting from 27 teeth. The complex manufacturing process limits the range to a small selection of sizes. Therefore, the drive ratio is not as variable as with a chain drive.
Models 1991-1994 must use later oil seal and spacer.
