Metal Finish History
During the 1930s the factory changed from the till then predominant nickel finish of certain metal parts to chrome-plating, cad-plating and parkerizing. This mostly happened under retention of the same part number and without correlation to specific years or models. The W&W selection pictures this fact in that it partially offers various finish options under one OEM reference number.
