These rider caps were indispensible part of the biker outfit from the 1930s well into the 1950s. Even the Wild One in the legendary rebel movie of the same name had one. Since generations the Sterkowski company of Warsaw/Poland manufactures them after period patterns, i.e. pure cotton crown part with viscose lining, leather visor and sweatband, ventilation eyelets and decorative double cord. A very stylish alternative to the usual base cap.
