This 2-bolt rear motor mount for K models and Sportster is made from high tensile cast aluminum and reinforced in all areas tending to crack. This provides superior stability and weight reduction. The bracket slips over the starter shaft and studs of the motor housing. Unlike original brackets, this one has a recess in the upper area, which allows the mounting on completely assembled engines. 4-bolt models (1952-1966) may need some case grinding.

Some things simply work best when original. In this case, you should not make any compromises and install parts in original quality (original parts are often no longer available). Manufacturers such as Competition Distributing and The GasBox and brands such as Strange Bird or The Cyclery vouch for the necessary quality of the engine mount.
