Lowrider look for Tour Glide, Sportster and Dyna Glide models. The bike's rear end is lowered approximately by 1” (25 mm) of which riders of shorter height greatly benefit. The lower shock mount position is lowered and moved backwards but still accepts stock or aftermarket shocks. Installation time is less than 30 minutes (FXD 2 hours). All kits are manufactured in the USA from heavy-duty steel with powder-coated black finish or show chrome finish. For proper and balanced chassis geometry we recommend simultaneous lowering of the motorcyle at the front end with one of our fork lowering kits. We also urge to check for sufficient shock travel.

Clearance problems for shocks and belt guard may occur when aftermarket shocks are used. This kit is designed to be used with stock shocks only. Does not fit FXD Conv. with OEM  saddlebags.

Progressive Suspension Drop-In Fork Lowering Kits

The "Drop-In" lowering kits by Progressive Suspension make installation a 30 minute cake walk. Pull two inches out of the front end of your bike without the hassle of disassembling the forks or even changing out the oil and the whole process can be done with basic tools! You only have to lift the front end of the bike and - after removing the fork tube plugs - replace the stock fork springs with your new Progressive Suspension "Drop-In" springs. The longer stiffer one will control cushioning, the shorter softer one will lower the bike and control rebound simultaneously.
