Before crimp and plug connectors were used, cable connections on Harley-Davidson motorcycles were fixed by screws. When the small screws were checked regularly, the system was very reliable. Brillman offers knurled brass nuts as replacements for the original ignition cable nuts. Of course, these nuts can also be used for custom projects on newer Harleys than Flatheads and Knuckleheads.
