This ignition coil is a direct replacement for Harley-Davidson Big Twin models from 1948 to 1960. It generates the necessary voltage for reliable ignition of the spark plugs, ensuring smooth and stable engine operation.
To keep the amps down that the breaker points must handle, we recommend a 2 Ohm series resistor for 12 V applications.
