This ignition coil is a direct replacement for Harley-Davidson Big Twin models from 1948 to 1960. It generates the necessary voltage for reliable ignition of the spark plugs, ensuring smooth and stable engine operation.
To keep the amps down that the breaker points must handle, we recommend a 1 Ohm series resistor for 6 V applications.

Mounting Kit for Ignition Coils 1948-1982
Reverb Vintage Ignition Wire by the Meter
Cotton-braided 16 gauge spark plug wires with a nice vintage herringbone design. Use them to fabricate your own old style ignition cables. Feature a modern PVC insulation and stranded copper core.
Universal Ignition Wire Kits
Two ignition cables with spark plug caps in different lengths, featuring a copper core and a black silicone sheath whose color blends discreetly into the bike. After cutting the two cables to length, the ignition coil connectors must be crimped on. With some aftermarket ignition coils, the cables are simply pushed onto terminals.
