These frame stabilizers for 45”/750 cc W & WR Flatheads replace the seat post units and were already used back in the days to counteract the stresses and strains of racing, as the frames often threatened to break around the rear motor mount area. This relatively light tubular construction with welded ends solves this problem, as the seat post tube is reinforced from the inside. The stabilizer is inserted into the seat post tube and held in place by a flange attached to the top. The tube is fixed from below with a 5/8" screw.

To enable installation, the frame must be drilled out at the bottom and the seat post bushing has to be removed.

Wrecking Crew Tramp I Handlebars

The shape of these handlebars is inspired by the legendary Tramp I, a Knucklehead drag bike built by S&S founder George Smith in the early Fifties. They feature distinctive, pulled-down tube ends. This feature helps so much when crouching down on the tanks during your quest for top speed. The selection includes handlebars for stock spiral grips thru 1948 and handlebers which feature straight 1” tubing on both ends so they will accept 1974-up grips and clamp type throttle controls.

Samwel WR Flathead Frames

Samwel WR Flathead Frames

For WR factory racers the MoCo made a special "Light Frame" with numerous lightening holes on forged parts and various brackets omitted to save weight. On the other hand two rear frame braces were added to increase stability and two tabs to accept the spiral springs for a small racing seat. Unlike the original counterpart this reproduction is built from sturdy steel and not from chrome-moly tubing, which was prone to break. Now you can build your authentic race bike with peace of mind. Dimensions and details exactly follow the factory counterpart.
