Clutch switches – or more precisely, clutch lever switches – are standard on modern Harley-Davidson models. On fuel-injected bikes from 2007 onward, this little switch adds an extra layer of safety: if you engage a gear and release the clutch while the sidestand is still down, the engine shuts off. There are versions available for Tourer, Sportster, Softail, and Dyna models – both with and without CAN bus systems.
