This oval air cleaner was Original Equipment on many models since 1967 and is still one of the most beautiful HD air cleaners. Perfect for your original 60s and 70s style Harley restauration. Fits all Tillotson, Bendix and Keihin carburetors (except CV).

Bates Adapter for Oval Air Cleaners on S&S Super E/G Carbs
Add some classic factory style to your S&S Super E or G carburetor. This adapter allows for a quick and clean installation of OEM or aftermarket air cleaners with recessed backing plate. At least that’s what it is intended for, but of course you can mount any air cleaner, carb cover or air horn with a Tillotson, Bendix or Keihin (exc. CV) bolt pattern to your Super E/G with it.
Bates Trim for Bendix Style Oval Air Cleaner
This contrasted insert will add some 1970’s classic factory style to your oval air cleaner. Simply mounts with the two cover screws.
Bates Adapter for Oval Air Cleaners on CV Carburetors
This adapter allows for the installation of OEM or aftermarket air cleaners with recessed backing plate on Keihin CV carburetors. At least that’s what it is intended for, but of course, you can mount any air cleaner, carb cover or air horn with a Tillotson, Bendix or Keihin bolt pattern. It is also useful with large or low mounted gas tanks, because it positions the air cleaner further to the right by 21 mm.
Bendix/Keihin Air Cleaner Mounting Kit
This lock plate was stock on 1984-1985 models but is very useful to securely mount any air cleaner on bikes with Bendix and Keihin butterfly carburetors.
