Bel-Ray Fork Oil

It's that time again – the fork oil needs to be changed.

But why actually?

Because like any oil, deteriorate and loses its properties over many kilometers on your Harley. Fork oil not only lubricates the fork bushings and fork tubes and reduces friction, it also controls the compression and rebound of the suspension.

Our Bel-Ray fork oil demonstrably reduces this friction – thanks to specially developed and relieve fork tube restraint.

The three available viscosity grades allow for practical tuning:

• SAE 30W was the standard fill for all models until 1978, and even until 1984 for FL models. This variant provides firm damping, especially for heavier machines.
• SAE 20W was introduced afterwards as the new standard fill – for a balanced fork characteristic with a good compromise between comfort and control.
• SAE 15W offers a slightly softer response and is suitable for lighter front ends or a comfort-oriented suspension setup.

Bel-Ray fork oils are fully mixable, allowing for individual viscosity adjustments.
