GP38 Racing Forks
In their heydays, i.e. the 1960s and 1970s, Ceriani GP forks were state-of-the-art and notably the adjustabe versions equipped race bikes all over the planet. Today these reproductions do a great job in the classic racing scene and the GP38 Racing offers exactly what the sports oriented rider needs. Spring preload, compression and rebound damping are fully adjustable, which provides the possiblity to tune the fork to individual needs and road conditions. For the use in heavier motorcycles it is reinforced throughout, with strong 38 mm tubes and beefier lower legs. Another update compared with the original Ceriani fork are the internal shim stacks instead of simple damping pistons and rods, which create a uniform, linear damping system, similar to modern superbikes. The CNC-machined billet triple trees feature integrated 1” clamps for easy handlebar installation. The lower legs are also machined from billet aluminum and come with integrated mounts for the caliper brackets and the adjusters. Weight is 4.1 kg less than a stock 35 mm Narrow Glide fork which emphasizes the sporting nature of the GP38 front end. The handlebar mounting clamps are spaced at 75 mm (center to center) so they will easily accept narrow base handlebars.
