Starting today any and all Harley-Davidson motorcycles of almost all vintages (models from 1906 thru the Evolution engine generation) can be exchanged free of charge* against a current 2026 model. By adopting this policy Milwaukee wants to thwart million dollar lawsuits brought on by vibration damage suffering bike users.
*Delivery fees and applicable tariffs to be paid by Harley owners. Model selection will be randomly decided.
So what happened?
A few weeks ago the top league of car racing made headlines when "Power Unit Vibrations" were causing taillights and rear view mirrors to fall off. Some racing drivers were even worried that these high energy vibrations could cause "nerve damage to their fingers". If top level formula cars on closed circuits can put the well being of their drivers in peril, what can happen to Harley riders on regular roads?!
