Tanks and Handlebars

Authentic reproductions of the original WR gas tanks as used on the 1946-1952 production race bikes of the same name. The narrow shape and omission of the speedo assembly achieve that much sought after racy look.

Racing style gas tanks for Big Twins shaped after the legendary WR model tanks of the late forties and early fifties. The beautiful narrow design and excellent European craftsmanship really stand out in the crowd. Each set is completely handmade by experts. Unlike the original WR pattern these tanks are supposed to contain gas in both halves.
To avoid an unsightly gap between engine and gas tanks our WR Style tanks are model specific and sit close to the motor which looks purpose-built instead of universal.

This racy strip is just right for the WR and WR-style gas tanks. It will cover the gap between the gas tank halves and all the wires, fuel and oil lines in between. Rear fixture has to be fabricated.

Most period Bobbers and many stock bikes had them: Flanders handlebars with matched risers and fork clamps. When they were introduced in the 1940s the cool look and the resulting superb riding position made them an instant success. These risers (product design by Mark van der Kwaak / dbbp) are great reproductions of the legendary originals and show the manufacturer’s care and attention to detail, underlined by the hex head clamping bolts. The offset clamps are sandwiched between Delrin rings to absorb vibration and still firmly hold the handlebars.
