The proper function of front suspensions on older Harley-Davidson models, also known as Cushion Fork or Springer Fork, depends on the condition of guide rods, guide bushings, and small components such as leaf springs and slider blocks. If these parts have the correct dimensions and are properly matched to each other, these spring forks can also perform satisfactorily.
