Duplicates of the first HD dash covers as they were originally mounted on 1936–1938 Knuckleheads and 1937-1938 Flatheads. These excellent reproductions will fit the factory base plates for those models. They will also fit 1939-1946 models, when used with our #90-524 dash base. For installation on Fat Bob tanks used from 1947-1984 use dash base #90-450.

Plugs for Dash Covers
Back in the days Police bikes were equipped with a button switch on the handlebars which, when activated, triggered a magnetic switch on the side of the speedometer to fix the speed of the preceding vehicle on its own speedometer. Thus, speeding could be recorded as evidence, which was shown to the speeder. On the left side of the dash cover was a button to reset the fixed speedometer needle. Civilian machines were not equipped with this function and the hole in the speedometer cover was closed with this plug.
