Sheath Knives

This classic large hunting knife is made by Buck since 50 years. Hoyt and Al Buck used to build them by hand in their two-man shop. Today, this fixed blade hunting knife with a large clip blade for detail work, piercing and cutting in tight places for added control, is as popular as ever. The handle is made from rugged phenolic material.

The Forest knife was designed as a hunting and fishing knife, however it will be a great companion for most outdoor activities. Its sturdy blade is made of stainless laminate VG10 custom steel and convex ground for extra strong cutting power with no risk for edge breakage. The modified clippoint design works well for penetrating purposes, the long curved edge is ideal for skinning. The blade is long enough for lighter chopping and won't break since it's a full 5 mm thick. Its full tang goes entirely through the handle, so you can strike the end of it without breaking the grip. The checkered Thermorun rubber handle gives a good grip even when your hands are cold or wet. Included with the knife is an open-top dangler sheaths in thick, black leather.
For those who prefer to get no reflection from the blade, a black CeraCoat 8H version is also available. This extremely tough surface will also protect the blade from corrosion.

A semi-large all-purpose knife for heavy duty use. The powerful blade is made of extremely hard yet tough laminated VG10 steel and will withstand the stress of hard use. The knife is superb to chop with, but also works very well with daily tasks, thanks to the ergonomic Kraton rubber grip. The full tang goes entirely through the handle, so you can strike the end of it without breaking the grip. The well-sewn and sturdy black leather sheath allows you to fasten the knife on your belt or your pack - even upside down. Model A1 is a water repelling concept which works just as well in extreme cold as in stifling heat.
The CeraCoat 8H coating provides corrosion protection. Furthermore, the matt black blade is non-reflective.

When you are far from inhabited areas, you need to be able to rely on your equipment. Some things just have to work, despite anything thrown at you. The Model A2 Wilderness is such a tool. It is an extremely durable knife that will never let you down - a knife that can stand up under incredible strain. The reason for its remarkable performance is the use of a laminated stainless steel, with an edge consisting of VG10 steel and with sides consisting of resilient 420J2 steel. The combination of these steels results in a blade which keeps its edge extremely well and yet is also extremely strong. The full tang goes entirely through the Kraton rubber handle, so you can strike the end of it without breaking the grip. The A2 is supplied with a convex edge, that it is suitable for both cutting and striking. A well-sewn leather sheath is included as standard. For expeditions and tough outdoor life, the Model A2 is the obvious choice for a life-long traveling companion.

If one wishes to treat oneself to a truly beautiful, technically complete knife, then TK1 is an obvious choice: it is quite simply exceptional. The Cocobolo handles please the eyes. Every knife is manually produced by experienced, skilled knife makers, which means that each knife is unique.
