Normaclamp S Hose Clamps

Since the introduction of oil hoses instead of rigid lines on K models and FLHs, Harley-Davidson has used robust single-use hose clamps. While very strong, they are intended for one-time use only, and proper installation requires a high-quality —and unfortunately expensive— crimping tool. Standard hose clamps with embossed threads in the band are not only unattractive, but the threads are also not particularly durable.

As an alternative, Normaclamp S hose clamps are a good option. They can be installed with standard screwdrivers and feature sturdy 9 mm wide bands with rounded edges. A bridge at the overlap prevents damage to the hose material.
