Conical exhausts or megaphones

One thing is clear: this is pure racing style. The increasing width of the pipe towards the end causes the gases to slow down, thus reducing the sound pressure and creating the necessary back pressure. So much for the theory of exhaust design. But one thing is for sure, these things look cool and the Harley is sure to attract the necessary level of attention after fitting a megaphone.
