The Slim-Line oil coolers were specially developed for Harley-Davidson models, combining high cooling performance with a subtly elegant design. The smooth end caps emphasize the discreet appearance, while the construction provides a large cooling surface in a compact design and minimizes restriction of oil flow. The oil coolers are usually mounted on the left frame tube, where they are optimally exposed to airflow. Attachment is via sturdy Uralite plastic clamps, which are both vibration-resistant and visually neat. Scope of delivery: Four pairs of clamps with inner diameters: 1-1/8”, 1-1/4”, 1-3/8”, and 1-1/2” – suitable for most installation situations on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Works with all H-D models with front-mounted spin-on oil filters. Mounts between base plate and oil filter and avoids due to its offeset construction filter to sensor contact. A thermostat is incorporated. There's a separate, optional anti-rotation device available.

This adapter for connecting the oil cooler is installed inline between oil filter and crankcase. The radially mounted oil cooler connections can be swiveled to accomodate oil line routing. However, due to the additional overall length, the oil filter may collide with any crankshaft sensors that may be present. A thermostat is incorporated.

The Jagg automatic oil cooler bypass acts as a remote oil thermostat to by-pass the oil cooler until the oil reaches optimal operating temperature.

Manually-operated by-pass valve which installs in-line of the two oil hoses to and from the cooler. In the open position, during warm-up, the oil will partially return to the tank without flowing through the cooler. As the oil temperature rises the amount of oil passing the cooler will gradually increase. With the by-pass valve manually closed all of the oil is forced to flow through the cooler. The latter is recommended only for high outside temperature.

Applied to the Jagg oil filter adapters for Twin Cam models to insure the adapter will not rotate during oil filter removal.
