Heidenau

Heidenau Tires can look back on quite an eventful history. Founded in 1946, the company started with the production of molded rubber products. In 1952, Heidenau switched gears and began producing car and industrial tires. In 1959 Heidenau concentrated on the production of all two-wheeler tires under the brand Pneumant, which ended in 1994. The same year Reifenwerk Heidenau GmbH & Co. KG was founded with a focus on the production of two-wheeler, kart and special-purpose tires which has continued through today. Heidenau´s success is based in the continuous improvement of production process and products. With customer's satisfaction as a primary concern, the company keeps an eye on the latest motorbike developments for new applications, while keeping in mind the needs of vintage motorbike enthusiasts.

Heidenau K34 Tires
Heidenau K34 Tires
Older riders will surely remember the classic Metzeler Block C or similar tread patterns. In the 1950s and 1960s, motorcycle tires with block tread patterns were in high demand as all-rounders. These tread patterns performed just as well on the ever-improving tarmac surfaces as they did on the unpaved roads that were still common at the time. The K34 series from Heidenau transfers this classic block tread pattern into present days with a more rounded —and therefore steeringwise more energy-efficient— contour than back then and with newly developed material compounds. Nevertheless, the K34 is a perfect fit for classic bikes. Becuase after all, a vintage look need not mean vintage performance. Three classical sizes for Harleys, suitable for front and rear wheels and with no running direction specs.

Heidenau K34 Arrow Tires
Heidenau K34 Arrow Tires
The profile of the K34 Arrow was specifically developed from the block profile of the K34. The arrow-shaped design improves water drainage, while the low-profile contour ensures better leaning into corners. Of course, modern material compounds offer more grip than in the past. The contour also has a positive effect on driving dynamics and stability. Suitable for front and rear wheels and with no running direction specs.
