Gunnhild’s Leatherworks
A Harley is the deeper reason why Gunnhild Udnesseter Krantz in 1993 chose a career in leather craft. One fine day in Seattle she went and bought a 1976 FLH Liberty Edition she still rides to this day when she isn’t criss-crossing her adopted home country of Sweden on her chopper.
Anyway, Gunnhild was looking for a leather tank cover back then, and karma guided her to a man who didn’t just custom make one for her, he also ignited her love for working with leather. Back in Norway she took an apprenticeship in shoemaking and opened her own leatherworks shop in Trondheim.
Word of Gunnhild's enthusiasm and craftswomanship quickly spread and she gained experience in repairing and manufacturing pretty much everything to do with leather: boots, car interiors, riding saddles, saddlebags …
Relocating to Sweden (and her obsession with motorcycles) made her specialize in motorcycle seats, leather vests, belts, wallets and other must-haves for the discerning biker. We are proud to announce that she agreed to enter a cooperation with W&W Cycles.
