On the blanket is residing a monumental sidewinder snake (crotalus cerastes) paying homage to W&W’s catalog. It is cut from fine wool felt and carefully embroidered onto the blanket. Thanks to the double-layer construction the technical reverse side of the snake is invisible as it should be. You can’t make a better or more exclusive blanket – that’s why this rare viper is limited to a run of 25. As we use our motto of “We ride what we sell!” on anything we make, we took a one-off prototype to Sweden for the A-Bombers event. Our respect for the beautifully crafted textile soon turned into affection, when we used it as a comfortable and tough base for our trackside picnics. No wonder, as it is crafted from 24oz Melton wool (named after the small town of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, UK). We use an extra heavy version of this jersey knit from a worsted yarn (steam treated for toughness). Melton wool is used on classic military and navy garments due to its wind and water repellent properties. Weather resistant, and battle hardened, this seemed like the right choice for a tough and reliable companion to all kinds of outdoor adventures. Using it as intended in the Great Outdoors will give it character over the years. In the days when knuckleheads, flatheads and panheads were still new machines, a sweater was an essential biker outfit. Although it was never produced this way in the 30s and 40s, Dehen has created this cool full-throttle motorcycle sweater with a full-length brass front zipper closure! These sweaters are made entirely by hand from 100% worsted wool and have a luxurious satin-lining which makes them much more comfortable to wear. The distinctive wide cuffs on the sleeves and waistband keep out the wind and cold and prevent riding up of the sweater. The elbows are reinforced on the inside and it is also equipped with two welt pockets.

Constructed from a 10-oz waxed cotton outer shell with a luxurious mouton fur lining, this jacket represents the very best this company has to offer. This is not a pure motorcycle jacket but due to its ruggedness, warmth and water-repellent properties it will do a great job on rides during the colder season. Mouton fur is a processed sheepskin that resembles beaver or seal fur for its soft and insulating charcteristics. Further quality details are two fleece-lined front pockets, fleece lined sleeves, a button neck closure, the 6-Button placket-front closure with hidden brass zipper and canvas pull, an inner left chest zip pocket and 100% wool knit cuffs. An exclusive for W&W is this special version of Dehen’s Naval Crew sweater with iconic striped design. Since the 1950s this style is popular amongst bikers as you can see in the classic movie "The Wild One". The 100% worsted wool material on these sweaters is a so-called 3-end knit, where three ends of wool yarn go into knitting the fabric. This is heavy weight but still appropriate for a collared sweater that is pulled over the head. Further features are a 4” wide waistband and cuffs, 1” rib knit collar and interior elbow patches.

For all of your waxed canvas refinishing needs. Use a small amount and apply minimal heat to cause the wax to flow. Blot with Kraft paper.
