Bushing kit for Progressive Suspension Series 418 shock absorbers.
Set of eight bushing halves for 418 series shock absorbers from Progressive Suspension. The original hard PU bushings — no longer available — had to be pressed into the shock eyes. These bushings, made from extremely durable PE1000, are simply inserted into the shock eyelets from both sides. PE1000 is an extremely wear-resistant and low-friction material, although a drop of grease may help during installation. After that, the shock absorber is ready to be mounted on the vehicle. Carefully align the shock absorber so that it does not appear tilted when viewed from the rear. If the swingarm bearings have excessive play, now would be a good time to correct that.
The bushing kit comes as a set of 8 pieces for four shock eyelets. Pls see sketch for dimensions.
