The Barnett Extra Plate Kit is a clutch plate set that provides 12% more friction surface, making it ideal for high-performance Harley-Davidson engines. The kits are supplied without the standard pressure plate and allow for improved power transfer on heavily stressed clutches.
Aramid or Carbon Fiber Discs?
Aramid (also in the market under the brand name Kevlar) lined friction discs are a quality replacement for stock clutch discs. For high performance applications carbon fiber lined friction discs arerecommended, which provide high thermal stability, improved wear resistance and nonabrasiveness.
