These kits provide 12% more clutch surface and are recommended for performance motors. They are installed without the stock riveted spring plate.
Aramid or Carbon Fiber Discs?
Aramid (also in the market under the brand name Kevlar) lined friction discs are a quality replacement for stock clutch discs. For high performance applications carbon fiber lined friction discs arerecommended, which provide high thermal stability, improved wear resistance and nonabrasiveness.
