Linkert 6 ” Air Cleaners

Exact reproductions of HD’s first real air cleaners as used on Linkert carburetors. Choose from the early version without logo, with screw-on or J-slot connection between the chromed cover and cad/parkerized backing plate, or the later version with stamped logo. They come complete with spring and metal mesh filter element. The J-slot versions with riveted-on inspection plate, too. Correct for model years 1935-1940, however they will fit all Linkert M-series carbs.

Linkert 7 ” Air Cleaners Bird Style

Nice reproduction of a 1940s accessory air cleaner for Linkert carburetors. It features an art deco bird design instead of the H-D trademark. There is a version for right side installation on OHV (Knucklehead and Panhead) models and a left side version for Flatheads. Very accurate with J-slot twist-connection between the cover and backing plate.

S&S Mini Teardrop Air Cleaners

S&S Cycle shrank the iconic Teardrop’s shape to 85% of its original size and laid it over a Stealth air cleaner system. This yields a somewhat less dominant appearance of the carb than the regular Teardrop air cleaner. Machined openings around the rim add style and provide additional air flow. Each kit comes complete with filter element, breather system and mounting hardware.

DynaMite Knee-Saver

Running an S&S Super E or G carb on Knuckleheads and Panheads results in the Teardrop air cleaner sticking out pretty far and interfering with your right knee. This low profile version features a shortened cover and a modified base plate which reduces the overall height of the air cleaner assembly by 25 mm. Thus you gain more legroom and the whole air cleaner tucks closer to the engine. Looks good on other models, too.

Dragtron 2 Air Cleaner

Improved version of the standard Dragtron air cleaner for CV-Carburetors and Bendix Carburetors. The Dragtron 2 is made from solid die-cast aluminum and the backing plate is, similar to S&S air cleaners, aerodynamically shaped to maximize air flow. The filter is encased in a heavy stainless steel mesh and the cover is properly hold in place with three countersunk socket head screws. All hardware is made from stainless steel.
