Quick Stick Start Lever – Mechanical Starter Conversion for Big Twins & Sportster Tired of bulky handlebar starter buttons and unnecessary wiring? The Quick Stick Start Lever replaces the stock solenoid cover and takes over the entire start function – completely mechanically, no electrics involved. Just move the lever manually to engage the starter gear and crank the engine directly. Mounted with three stainless steel screws in place of the original solenoid cap. Pushing the lever to the right (riding direction) engages the starter pinion and activates the starter motor. A return spring brings the lever back to its resting position automatically. These small petcocks fit direct to either a 1/4" or 3/8" NPT bung on your gas tank. This keeps your gas tank looking very clean. They feature a 5/16" diameter hose barb on one end and a fuel filter on the other. The manufacturer recommends 1/4" ID fuel line for a snug, leak proof fit. Rotating the cylindrical piece with the two grooves is how the fuel is toggled on and off. No reserve. Length measured without hose barb and filter.
