For many years, François Bruère has been painting all things mechanical. He has drawn, painted, sculpted and illustrated countless images of both cars and motorcycles. His passion is to paint the major manufacturers inspired by their history but always including and respecting the nostalgia and charisma of the vehicle and driver. His artworks combine the triumph of victory, the beauty of the machine and the passion of the event. He is the official licensed artist of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, organisers of the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours race, for which he designs race posters and trophy design.
Bike’n’Rod
Clearly one can tell that this must be a scenic moment of an occasional race by the beach or the salt lake. Pictured are a Knucklehead and a Ford Roadster just in the typical style of Francois Bruère, waiting to take part in the next race. These vehicles can be staged to the time of 1930-40.
For lovers of his pictures & prints this is another classic which should not be missing in the collection.
