CMS WPB Kicker Pedals 1943-1945

Authentic reproduction of the kicker pedal as used on civilian Harley-Davidson motorcycles from 1943 to early 1945. During World War II, Harley-Davidson, following directives from the War Production Board (WPB), replaced the standard rubber pedal covers with durable steel sleeves to conserve rubber for essential wartime production. The War Production Board, a U.S. government agency responsible for coordinating the allocation of resources, implemented numerous measures to reduce the consumption of critical raw materials. The steel-sleeved kicker pedal is a direct result of these efforts. This reproduction kicker pedal matches the original in both shape and function but features the distinctive exposed steel sleeve. It not only serves as an authentic detail for restoring vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles but also offers exceptional durability.
