What started as little more than a small and chaotic blowout sale in Biltwell’s parking lot as a scratch-and-dents sale has roared off to be the Parts & Labor Custom Motorcycle Expo, consistently expanding beyond the capacity of one venue after the other, until the road to success led to the Del Mar Fairgrounds. A perfect match.
A little bit of the old blowout sale romance is still palpable, but the chaos turned into a celebration. A well judged assortment of dozens of hand built bikes at the centre of 100 of the best custom scene makers and vendors, and a stampede of two-wheeled obsessives and chopperazzi, food, drinks, in short: a glorious weekend.
