As nice as stock rigid frame saddlebags, or reproductions of them, may look, for those real long hauls they are not what you would call the ideal solution due to their limited storage room. The leather saddlebags offered here were tour equipment on the bikes that we rode to Patagonia and Fireland and to the Northwest Territories/Canada during the W&W World’s End Runs because they offer plenty of storage room for big luggage and more. They mount with Army style pin-strips or two straps, ideally to our PanAm or original heavy duty luggage carriers which feature the matching holes. Made from tough cowhide leather, with three front straps and chrome buckles to close them.

The Duke saddlebag offers 24 liters of capacity, providing enough space for everything you need on a weekend trip – from a rain jacket to a tool roll. It is slightly slimmer than the Bamse model but still impresses with thoughtful functionality and a clean, classic look.
Four sturdy loops on the lid allow you to secure a sleeping bag, tent, or sleeping mat – ideal for longer rides. A large front pocket provides quick access to flat gear such as maps or gloves.
Inside, a leather-covered steel plate ensures stability, while additional leather on the outside reliably protects against abrasion from the chain guard, shock absorber, or axle.
Typically Scandinavian, the Duke is mounted single-sided on the left. It is available in two versions: with a flat back for rigid frame and Softail models, and with a contoured back for bikes with traditional shock absorbers – perfectly tailored to custom and classic-style motorcycles.

The compact little package with zip closure features low weight, small packing volume and durable, waterproof material. In other words: there’s always space left for the First-Aid-Kit. Contents meet DIN 13167 standards (for motorcyclists).
