Jacket »Che Guevara« by Belstaff

Item №

This jacket, made from heavyweight, water-repellent wax cotton is a true reproduction of the legendary Belstaff jacket of the fifties. At that time it was marketed under the name Trialmaster. Ernesto Che Guevara wore this very jacket during his legendary motorcycle journey across Latin America, which gave this faithful reproduction its name. It is made with the greatest respect for original materials and working methods; each one of them has its individual serial number. It features four outside pockets with water-protecting flaps and a waist belt allows for adjustment. Neck collar and cuffs are lined with Corduroy fabric and protect from wet and wind. To give you a foretaste of the adventures you can experience with your new Belstaff jacket, a DVD is included with the epic movie "The Motorcycle Diaries", which is based on the journals of Che Guevara.

Belstaff Jackets

From own experience we recommend to choose Belstaff jackets one to two sizes larger than with other manufacturers.

Waxed Garment

The “wrinkling" of waxed cotton garment happens when the (often new) fabric is bent, folded, worn, etc. Over time this happens less and less. In fact it is not the fabric wrinkling but the wax that leaves these lines at high spots. It is one of the defining characteristics of the product. Like denim, it will break in, develop patina and become very distinctive to the owner.
