Harley-Davidson motorcycles built 2004 or later are equipped with an OBD interface (On-Board Diagnosis) as a 3-pin plug-in connection. Using the mo.can adaptor, which is simply plugged into this connector, motogadget instruments can directly read out data such as speed, engine speed and MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) from the motorcycle data bus. There is no longer any need to install and connect sensors for speed and engine speed. The mo.can only consists of a tiny, fully moulded box, an OBD connector and a connecting cable of sufficient length. It is resistant to vibrations and the elements. The electronics are protected against voltage peaks. Its function is ensured down to 5V vehicle voltage.
Removing the stock speedometers can lead to ECU problems. Please ask your local dealer or test this (e.g. by disconnecting the tachometer) before making any modifications. Not compatible with HD-LAN (HD Version of CAN-bus).
